Thus, we invite you to join us in discussing the creative character of computational and AI systems while engaging in the Swedish national pass time of “Fika” – having too much coffee and cake, greeting Mother Nature in the beauty of the Swedish forest and joining us in celebrating Midsummer: the most magical time of the year
To be considered, papers must be submitted as a PDF document formatted according to ICCC style (which is similar to AAAI and IJCAI formats). The conference website will be updated to include the correct templates.

CVPR AI ART GALLERY 2024
Deadline: 10 March 2024
Computer vision techniques have long been used to make art, with tools such as GANs, Stable Diffusion and NeRF gaining popularity in recent years to create novel aesthetics, imagine new ways of seeing the world and investigate the potential of human-machine collaboration in the arts. Apart from that, artists have been looking critically into the workings and applications of object and facial recognition, producing works that highlight the limitations of the current state of technology, critique the machine’s view of the world and use the technology in unexpected ways.
At CVPR 2024, we will present a gallery of AI artworks in a dedicated space at the conference. We encourage submissions from anyone interested in AI art, whether you’re a computer vision researcher with visually engaging results or a professional artist. Submissions may include, but are not restricted to:
Artworks created with novel computer vision techniques
Artworks created using established computer vision techniques in original or unexpected ways
Artworks presenting a critical or alternative perspective on computer vision techniques and applications
These submissions can be in any medium (e.g. image, video, interactive installation, physical object) and can be part of published technical work (aesthetically outstanding results, unexpected glitches). We have a preference for works created in 2023 and 2024 to keep this gallery as a snapshot of current artistic practice.
Art submissions will be evaluated by the curator according to artistic concept, technical execution, visual presentation and originality.
Accepted artworks will be exhibited in a dedicated space at the Seattle Convention Center during the main CVPR conference, most likely on screens or as a projection, though there may also be scope to host more complex installations and physical work. There will also be an online gallery.
Attendance at the workshop is not required for accepted works and we will not be able to provide conference registration.
