IDFA 2023 festival submissions

IDFA is the leading festival for the art of documentary film and new media. Every November, the festival presents a trend-setting program of 250 selected titles in six competitions, several thematic sections, a physical exhibition, and a range of live performances. The twelve-day event annually welcomes some 295,000 visits, 3,000 professionals, and 40,000 students to Amsterdam, making it the largest and most influential documentary film festival in the world.

Vilcek Prizes for Creative Promise in Design

Project to Screen is open to feature film, series, animation, and documentary projects worldwide. International jury will select projects for their international market potentials to encourage co-funding and co-production opportunities. Projects selected in these sessions will be eligible to apply for Creative Content Development Program and Taiwan’s International Co-funding Program funding programs from TAICCA. Sessions will give away awards to accelerate project development and productions. Selected projects will be promoted in various channels. International buyers will choose one project to win the TCCF AWARD: Best Project and US$30,000 cash prize.

Malta Biennale: Call for Artists
DEADLINE: 25 AUGUST

maltabiennale.art 2024 will be held in Malta. Notably, an island that has been challenged in finding its place in existing histories of contemporary Western and non-Western art due to its periods of colonisation and location; that is, being located in the centre of the Mediterranean and on the periphery of Europe.
Open call is intended for both local and international artists, curators, curatorial teams, project managers, etc., wishing to present projects in accordance with the theme of this year’s Biennale, ‘white sea olive groves’.
The maximum eligible amount per project is 13,000 EUR.
