Future Film and Television Industry Sharing Session
– Imagery Exploration in the Era of Artificial Intelligence
As an emerging disruptive technology, artificial intelligence is stepping into the field of film and television creation with its powerful text, image, and audio-video generation capabilities. With the current wave of popularity in social short videos such as “AI Comics” and “AI Enhanced Images”, and the emergence of technologies like “Chat GPT” and “Midjourney” reshaping public perceptions, how should the film industry make good use of, and respond to, artificial intelligence-generated content? How should we face the industry impacts and challenges brought by technological evolution?
Focused on the future development of the film and television industry, the “Imagery Exploration in the Era of Artificial Intelligence” sharing session will be held at the PUSH Art Center in Puxi Financial Plaza on Monday, June 17, from 14:00 to 16:00. And it is organized by the School of Theatre, Film, and Television of Communication University of China.

Future Film and Television Industry Sharing Session
– Offline Immersive Film and Television Entertainment Empowered by Technology
Industries thrive with intelligence and the fusion of virtual and reality. In recent years, VR technology has penetrated widely into scenic spots, museums, and exhibition halls, offering visitors a multi-person interactive infinite space experience within limited space. “To meet an infinite world within limited space” is no longer just imagination.
In the wave of technological development, how should multi-person large-space projects be selected, implemented, and operated? On Wednesday, June 19, the “Offline Immersive Film and Television Entertainment Empowered by Technology” sharing session will be held at the PUSH Art Center in Puxi Financial Plaza.
These highly-anticipated exchange and sharing sessions will delve into policy interpretation, technological exploration, project construction, and other aspects, comprehensively interpreting the new track of culture, business, and tourism in the digital era, and providing a “roadmap” for future industry development.

Renowned for his outstanding performances in films and television series such as THE BAD KIDS, HOME SWEET HOME, MOZART FROM SPACE, THE WOMAN IN THE STORM, and REMEMBER ME, young actor Rong Zishan has been invited to serve as the Experience Officer for this year’s SIFF XR. What exciting discoveries await him in the upcoming SIFF XR screenings?
In this SIFF XR section, four themes—Oriental Charm, The Secrets of Art, Me and Myself, and Supernatural Realm —will interconnect history and the future, seeking the spiritual path that connects inward exploration with outward expansion.
In addition to the aforementioned 26 outstanding domestic and international works, SIFF XR will also showcase new modes of film viewing to the public through immersive devices and interactive experiences such as racing simulators, VR glasses, and AR glasses.
